Four months of digital marketing for a Gloucestershire-based entertainment company saw some impressive growth! We achieved a 4x ROI, increased organic leads by 100%, more than doubled the conversion rate from 1.63% to 4%, and quadrupled the organic conversion rate to 8.8% from 2.2%.

We were working on a strict budget, and there wasn’t any scope for a new website. Therefore, we prioritised conversions and increased leads to the current design. 

As this was a short campaign, more work is still required for future growth, but the client is more than happy with the results and a 4x ROI.

This is how we did it:

✅ The homepage was lacking in information, and the menu was hard to navigate. We cleaned it up, added service pages and improved the user experience. This made it easier for traffic to find what they were looking for.

✅We increased the credibility of the company by adding previous clients to the homepage and testimonials.

✅We added a banner that encouraged traffic to “book now” as the client had limited availability on certain dates.

✅We added a strong CTA and emphasised it across every page. We went one step further and added the contact form to every page as well.

✅ We created a footer that further improved site navigation and internal links. We also added contact information and an address to build trust by showing that this was a legitimate business.

✅ We added a contact form to the bottom of every page, making it super easy to contact the DJs!

✅ We built location pages to increase the website’s reach. These location pages had many trust-building factors, such as previous clients and reviews. These location pages bring in new traffic, rank well, and, most importantly, generate leads.

✅ Added the benefits of using Cheltenham DJs and FAQs to help with objection handling. For example, a common objection is DJs playing the wrong songs. We made it clear that our client communicates before the event and requests a “no play” list. 

✅ We made the service pages SEO-friendly and removed outbound links to out-of-date SoundCloud accounts to keep traffic on the page. Instead, We embedded videos so they could still get a feel for each performer.
✅We built niche directory links, local citations and backlinks.

✅We optimised their Google Business Profile and cleaned up competitors who were abusing Google Business Profile name listings.
